Jennifer
Fleury-Lawson, RYT, M. Ed.
Owner, Yoga/Pilates Instructor

Jennifer has been
an instructor in the fitness industry since 1990. She holds
national fitness certification through AFAA, the Aerobics
and Fitness Association of America. Jennifer has an
extensive background in both yoga and pilates. She has
completed Yogafit's Yoga Alliance Approved 200 hour Teacher
Training Program. In addition, she
has participated in specialty yoga training programs
including, but not limited to pre-natal, child, and senior
populations. She holds Polestar’s Pilates
Certification, and AAAI-ISMA’s Phase I - III Pilates
Certifications. She is also MadDog spin certified. Jennifer is also a certified First Aid and
CPR Instructor for the American Red Cross.
As a small child,
Jennifer decided that she wanted to be a teacher. As a
result, she pursued and received a bachelor's degree in
education from Rhode Island College. She also has a
master's degree in education from Worcester State College
and a master's degree in educational administration from UMASS Lowell.
In addition to her work at AYPC,
Jennifer is also
currently employed as the Director of Curriculum and
Technology by the Thompson Public Schools in Thompson, CT.
When she is not
working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband Jim
and her daughter Julia.
Jennifer believes
that “Yoga improves our body, mind and spirit.”

Tina Bohaboy, Pilates/Spin Instructor

Tina has been a lifelong
fitness enthusiast and brings many fitness related
experiences with her. Tina holds national certification
through AFAA and Pilates Certification through AAAI-ISMA
phase 1 thru 3. Tina is spin certified through MadDog
Athletics. Tina is also certified in Senior Wellness and
Fitness designed for active older adults and believes
exercise is important no matter what your age. She is
certified in CPR through the American Red Cross.
When she is not teaching
Tina enjoys spending time with her 3 children and husband.

Laurie Coco,
Yoga/Pilates
Instructor

Laurie is a
nationally certified fitness instructor through
the Aerobics and
Fitness Association of America (AFFA). She holds
current certifications in yoga, pilates, aqua (phase I and
II), pre & post natal, and senior fitness. She is also
certified in Yoqua through the American Council on Exercise
(ACE), as well as the silver sneaker program certification.
Laurie has recently expanded on her teaching, that had
primarily been aqua-related (interval training, water
pilates, water tai chi, aqua box and yoqua). She is
certified in CPR and first aid through the American Red
Cross.
Laurie truly values the importance of promoting wellness
through the mind/body connection, and continues to further
her studies. She is currently increasing her training
in midlife fitness for women, as well as participating in
workshops and intensive that serve to enhance her teaching
skills.
Laurie holds a Masters degree from Rhode Island College in
Agency Counseling, specializing in addictions.
Laurie enjoys most of her free time having adventures with
her two daughters and gardening.

Kristine
DelloStritto, Spin/Barbell Instructor

Kristine has been an avid
fitness enthusiast for her entire life. She has been
spinning for over eight years, and has since become a
certified Mad Dog Spinning Instructor. She is also
certified through AFFA. In addition to her fitness
endeavors, Kristine is a
certified therapeutic recreation specialist currently
working from home as an independent Longaberger branch
leader. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two
children. |

Kathy
Deschene, Yoga Instructor
(Sub)

Kathy’s interest in
finding a holistic approach to self-care led her to study
yoga with some intensity through YogaSpirit Studios. Since
then, she has completed her 200-hour yoga certification.
Kathy sees herself growing within the yoga community,
teaching and maintaining her certification through
continuing education and attending workshops. Her classes
are designed to feel supportive with an emphasis on calming
the mind and creating space within the body.
In addition to yoga, she enjoys teaching muscle mix/toning
classes and beginners kickboxing. Kathy has achieved her
group fitness certification through ACE. She is First Aid
and CPR certified through the American Heart Association.
When she is not teaching classes, she enjoys swimming and
just spending time at home with her family.

Pat DiReda, PiYo Instructor
(Sub)

Pat has over 21
years of fitness experience in teaching a wide variety of
fitness classes throughout Worcester County. She holds
certifications as an Academy Group Fitness Instructor
(through ACE), a kickboxing instructor (through AFAA),
TurboKick™ and PiYo™ (a wonderful blend of yoga and pilates).
Pat is also CPR/AED & First Aid certified through the
American Red Cross.
In addition to the fitness industry, Pat has been in
advertising sales for over 24 years and is currently Sales &
Marketing Director for Ever So Humble® Pie Company of
Walpole, MA. When she is not working, Pat enjoys spending
free time with her husband and three children.

Kerry Glasier, Yoga
Instructor (Sub)
Kerry
has completed her Yoga Teacher Certification through Fitness
Resources and has been teaching children yoga
for three years. Kerry believes that children are able to
feel free and express themselves as well as balance their
feelings when exposed to yoga at an early age. Kerry is
continually increasing her knowledge through additional
workshops at FRA along with other workshops in the area.
Being a dancer for 16 years, Kerry enjoys the flow of yoga
and the peace and balance it brings to one's life.

Jessica
Miller,
Yoga
Instructor

Jessica
completed a 200 hour yoga certification program through Frog
Pond Yoga Centre in Princeton, MA. She studied Rājā Yoga,
an eight limb path outlined in Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutras.
Jessica
believes that the path of yoga makes one whole. It
clarifies, calms and revives body, mind and spirit. She
wants to share her journey with others by teaching students
how to quiet the activities of the mind, create a state in
which one is always present, and keep the body healthy,
strong and flexible. To Jessica, the practice of yoga
should not be asana alone (yoga posture), but rather a
holistic practice of asana, pranayama (breathing exercises)
and meditation. Jessica has a special interest in the
chakra system, the foundation of one’s spiritual anatomy.
When balanced, each of the seven chakras brings benefits to
the spiritual and physical aspects of the self.
Jessica
holds a bachelor of science in Psychology, with a minor in
Human Resources, from the University of Scranton in PA. She
is also an Instructional Designer. When Jessica is not
teaching, she loves spending time with her husband, Austin,
and her son, Rowan.

Melanie
Miller, Yoga/Pilates
Instructor (Sub)
Melanie completed a 200 hour
yoga certification program through Frog Pond Yoga Centre of
Princeton, MA. She is also certified in Pilates, and Color
Me Yoga (childrens' yoga), and CPR. She has taken
coursework in nutrition at Fitchburg, and Worcester State
College.
When not teaching yoga,
Melanie works in corporate America, and she is very aware of
the physical and mental stress that is faced there. She has
also spent a lot of time in the gym, so she brings many
fitness related experiences with her.
She loves gardening and
skiing, and is convinced that these activities are
extensions of yoga. Melanie encourages her students to share
their sports, hobbies, aches, pains and joys so that we can
customize classes to meet your needs. Melanie believes that
yoga is a lifetime of learning, and thankful that it found
her.

Ann
Ramsey, RYT (500 hours)
Yoga Instructor
Ann
Ramsey was first introduced to yoga in 1998, to bring
balance to a very physically active lifestyle. Her practice
and study of yoga is enhanced by her knowledge of anatomy
and physiology from her surgical career of nine years. She
hopes to share with her students the tools to enhance their
quality of life through the exploration of yoga, as it
applies to their bodies, as they are. Ann believes in the
power of yoga to bring balance and strength to the physical
body; adaptability, clarity and understanding to the mind;
and awareness and compassion of the spirit. Her teaching
style encourages exploration of movement through asana with
respect and compassion for the individual’s inner
experience.
Ann Ramsey received her teacher certification in yoga from
nationally recognized teacher Barbara Benagh, director of
The Yoga Studio in Boston, with whom she continues to study.
She is a registered RYT at the 500 level from Yoga Alliance.
She has also studied extensively at the advanced level with
Lauren Toolin, director of The Metta Center in Spencer, and
in teacher training intensives with world master teacher
Rodney Yee, with whom she has also teacher assisted in his
open yoga classes. Ann continues to explore yoga with many
nationally and world recognized yoga teachers in hopes to
bring to her students the experience of these masterful
people of yoga. She is certified in first aid and CPR from
the American Heart Association.
When not teaching Ann loves being a mother to her 3
children, a wife and partner to her husband of 24 years,
Warren, who is also a yoga instructor; and living life as an
experience to savor and appreciate.

Reardon,
Pilates
Instructor

pilates student for over six years, Mary decided to pursue a
certification to teach pilates. She is currently Power
Pilates Beginner & Intermediate Mat Certified. She is also AFAA Mat Certified. She is certified for CPR/AED.

Kimberly Stencel, Yoga
Instructor (Sub)

Kim completed her training in
Hatha yoga in April 2003 through the Fitness Resource
Associates of Needham, MA. She continues her studies through
FRA to advance her knowledge. She is certified to teach
PreNatal yoga and understands first hand the many benefits
it provides during pregnancy, birth and post-partum. She is
also certified in adult, child and infant CPR through the
American Red Cross. Kim is married and has 3 young children.

Mimi
Strzelewicz, RYT, Yoga Instructor

Michelle "Mimi"
started practicing yoga in 2001. Her love of yoga grew
deeper after noticing the many benefits, physically,
emotionally and spiritually. Her background of yoga includes
Iyengar and Vinyasa flows. Her teaching started by raising
money to benefit her children's school in Webster, MA. After
teaching for five months and donating all of the money to
the school, she started taking teacher training classes
under YogaFit. She has completed many levels of
yoga training including: Seniors, Prenatal/Postpartum and
Moodlifting yoga. In November of 2006 she became a 200 RYT.
In the summer of 2007, she became PiYo certified. Mimi is also certified for Adult, Child and Infant CPR
through the American Heart Association.
She likes to emphasize the benefits of building strength,
flexibility, and overall improved health through yoga to her
students who desire better health, and improved self image.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her
husband and two children. She also enjoys painting
landscapes, crocheting, camping, being at the beach, and
anything to do with crafts.

Mark
Strzelewicz, Spin Instructor

Mark Strzelewicz is a Mad Dogg
Spin Certified Instructor and certified for Adult, CPR
through the American Red Cross. He began his teaching career
in February 2006. He has been Spinning for 3 years and
enjoys it so much that teaching was the next logical step.
He also enjoys road cycling with his children, and Yoga. But
his biggest love in fitness is spin, where the music drives
him so much you can’t help but have a great time.
Mark’s brings his enthusiasm for injury-free, challenging
exercise, love of cycling and music to his classes. In
Mark’s class you can find music that spans 30 years and will
be something for all tastes - the more energy the better.
The most important thing to Mark is for the participants to
have a great time while doing something great for their body
and mind, leaving the days worries at the door and just
enjoying themselves.
He encourages all of those new to exercise to find something
that both makes them feel good and is fun. Originally from
Webster, Mark currently works in Worcester and has a wife
and two children.

Jamie Towle, Pilates Instructor

Jamie received her Pilates mat
certification through the Physicalmind Institute and is also
a certified Silver Sneakers instructor. Recently, she became
certified through Mad Dogg to teach Spinning. She has been
studying ballet and modern dance for 17 years with most of
those years under the direction of Trisha Lavoie. For six
years she was a company member of the Southern New Hampshire
Youth Ballet in Bedford, New Hampshire. Jamie has performed
in many pieces including The Nutcracker, The Sleeping
Beauty, Cinderella, and Swan Lake. It was due to company
requirements that Jamie was first exposed to Pilates about
10 years ago for dance conditioning. Jamie incorporates much
of her dance background into her classes. Currently, she is
a graduate student at Clark University and is certified in
CPR.

Bonnie
Wallace,
Nia Instructor

Bonnie Wallace began taking Nia classes in 2000 and
instantly fell in love with its free-flowing, powerful moves
and invigorating music. As a board-certified music
therapist, Bonnie connects with the healing elements of Nia,
especially the Alexander Technique, which she studied
privately in depth. Bonnie believes that each Nia class is
an opportunity for providing a soulful journey based on her
training in Guided Imagery in Music (GIM Level1). Her
recent completion of the first degree in the Reiki method of
natural healing brings an element of energy awareness to her
classes. Bonnie enjoys the opportunity that Nia gives her
to connect with her inner bliss. |

Amy
Yanover, Yoga Instructor (Sub)

Amy
completed her yoga training in December 2004 through Fitness
Resource Associates. She is furthering her knowledge
continually through workshops, her personal practice, and
studies with experienced local area yoga teachers. Her
teaching conveys her passion for yoga, along with her
compassionate spirit. Amy also currently assists in the
teaching of Yoga for Young Ones at a local studio. When she
is not practicing yoga, Amy is a portrait photographer. She
also spends her time enjoying her supportive and loving
family, and enjoying her passion for horses.
